Tim joined Washburn & McGoldrick after 32 years of advancement work in higher education and independent schools. First joining his alma mater, Stonehill College, in 1985 as Director of the Annual Fund, Tim rose to serve the College as Director of Development during the institution’s first-ever capital campaign and then as Assistant Vice President for Advancement and Campaign Director for Stonehill’s Attaining the Summit Campaign which secured a record-setting $59.5 million for capital projects and endowment.
In 2012, Tim joined the independent school sector as the Chief Development Officer at Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart where he built a development team and led a successful $10 million campaign for the construction of a new wellness center. In 2014, Tim was named Vice President at Ursuline Academy where he oversaw advancement initiatives that, for the first time, eclipsed $1 million in annual support and secured over $9 million for a new athletic & convocation center while also serving as a senior advisor to the President on matters of finance, enrollment, personnel, and community relations.
Active in CASE, Tim has served on the District I Board of Directors, two years as District Chair, and on the CASE Commission of Philanthropy. In 2016, Tim was recognized by his peers in District I with the Carol and Stephen Hebert Award for outstanding contributions to CASE District I. Tim has also served on the Board of Trustees of Ursuline Academy and the Board of Directors of the Dedham Community Association.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Stonehill College and a master’s degree in education from the University of Hartford.
