

Bonnie is providing counsel to a diverse group of public and private colleges and universities. Her consultations have included board, volunteer and staff training, campaign planning and counsel, campaign readiness studies, advancement program planning and assessment, and retreat facilitation.
Before joining the firm, Bonnie served Lehigh University from 1999 to 2007 as Vice President for Advancement. She led a staff of 75 and planned and launched Lehigh's current $500 million comprehensive campaign.
Prior to joining Lehigh, Bonnie served the University of Pennsylvania for 14 years. She was Assistant Vice President during Penn's Agenda for Excellence campaign, focusing on endowed scholarships, minority programs and faculty chairs. She also served as Director of Development for Schools & Centers during Penn's landmark $1.4-billion capital campaign. In that role, she served as "in-house" consultant to Penn's deans and center directors and to the unit development officers. Her first Penn responsibilities were as development officer for Penn's School of Nursing and the School of Social Policy and Practice.
Bonnie began her career as a capital campaign assistant at Emerson College in Boston before joining Hahnemann University in Philadelphia (now part of Drexel University) as development assistant and assistant director of development.
As a member of CASE and AFP, Bonnie has presented at numerous conferences. She was a faculty member for the CASE Winter Institute for Chief Development Officers in both 2006 and 2007.
Her professional accomplishments have been recognized by the Association of Fund Raising Executives in 1999 as the Greater Philadelphia chapter's Fund Raising Executive of the Year and received similar honors from the Lehigh Valley Chapter in November 2004. In 2007, CASE District II honored her as its Professional of the Year.
Bonnie earned a bachelor's degree in American Studies, with a minor in English, graduating summa cum laude from Dickinson College; she is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She served on the Dickinson College Alumni Council from 1999 to 2006 and formerly served on the board of Holy Child Academy in Drexel Hill, including 3 years as board chair. She is currently a member of the Steering Committee for Sweet Dreams, a $1 million-dollar fund-raising campaign for the Parent Infant Center, a daycare center that serves 250 children and their families in West Philadelphia.
