Lisa brings 15 years of advancement experience to her role as Senior Consultant. A strategic and innovative leader, she has a track record of building and managing teams to optimize results. As a skilled coach and manager, she has successfully initiated and led large-scale organizational change across advancement organizations with an emphasis on creating a fully integrated approach to advancement that optimizes alumni engagement, annual giving and advancement communications functions.

Lisa’s previous consulting experience includes work with Plus Delta Partners, where she partnered with advancement leaders from non-profit organizations to enhance their fundraising results. Through individual coaching and facilitation of skill-building workshops for frontline fundraisers and other advancement partners, Lisa supported her clients in addressing skill gaps and creating sustained behavioral change. Partner organizations included large and mid-size public universities, small and mid-size private universities, and non-profit clients.

Prior to joining Plus Delta, Lisa served as the Associate Vice President of Alumni & Constituent Engagement at Temple University, overseeing alumni relations, annual giving and advancement communications departments, and serving as a senior leader within the advancement division. Lisa managed a team of 25 fundraisers and advancement professionals and directed an annual giving program that raised over $2 million annually. As executive director of the Temple University Alumni Association, she also led the fundraising strategy for alumni association board members and the association’s challenge fund.

During her tenure, Lisa shifted Temple’s approach to engagement by creating greater balance between constituent-focused relationship management and data-informed strategy. Through thoughtful coaching and collaboration with leaders across the institution, she strengthened the philanthropic perspective of alumni, donors and advancement staff. In addition, Lisa collaborated with cabinet and senior leadership on prospect cultivation and trustee engagement, including cultivation of a $10 million naming gift for the university library. Lisa began her advancement career at the University of Pennsylvania, where she spent eight years overseeing alumni board development and the expansion of engagement programs.

Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and her master’s degree in education both from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves on PeopleGrove’s Innovation Advisory Board. She lives in South Philadelphia with her husband and their two daughters, Ruby and Clara.
