To celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Senior Consultants Carme Williams, CFRE & Susan Pettyjohn with Washburn & McGoldrick have the pleasure of speaking with two women philanthropists, Janet Atwater and Gayle Lanier. Janet is a William & Mary alumna and a founding member of their women’s philanthropy group, the Society of 1918, and Gayle is an alumna of NC State and chair of their women’s philanthropy group, Wolfpack Women in Philanthropy.
They share why the groups started, what has been the impact, the future of the programs as well as their best advice for starting and sustaining women philanthropy programs.
