Karin Lee George joined Washburn McGoldrick in 2005.

Karin works with a diverse range of Washburn McGoldrick clients on a range of projects including campaign readiness and feasibility studies, program assessments, post-campaign assessments, interim advancement leadership support, and ongoing advancement counsel as a strategic thought partner. She serves as the firm’s lead advancement counsel at Providence College, Mount Holyoke College, Keuka College, Knox College, North Carolina State University, The College of Wooster, SUNY Potsdam, Vassar College, Colorado College, and Wheaton College (MA).

Prior to joining Washburn McGoldrick Karin was a Vice President for Advancement at her alma mater Smith College and at Vassar College. She started her advancement career in 1986 at St. Lawrence University.

Karin was a trustee (2003-05) of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and served as chair of the Committee on the Profession. She was a member of the faculty of CASE’s Summer Institute in Educational Fundraising from 2000-2004 and served on the faculty of CASE’s Advancement Management Institute from 2003-2005. Karin was the founding Chair of CASE’s Minority Advancement Institute in 2006. She is a recipient of CASE’s distinguished Steuben Crystal Apple Award for teaching excellence.

She is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.
